Wacky Wednesday: COWBOYS - From Top to Bottom

http://www.flickr.com/photos/jeep_novak/2375682976/
Cowboys have been popping up in lots of places lately, such as in romance novels - not that I'm complaining!

What is the mystique about Cowboys that draw us to these strong, athletic, horse whispering, sweaty, tanned men?

Is it the hat cocked over unruly hair?

Is it the day old growth of whiskers that makes them so rough and tumble-ready appealing?

Is it the cotton and denim and wide buckled leather belts and chaps that make us swoon?

Perhaps it's simply the swagger as they stroll away from their horse toward you in those dusty leather boots.

Or perhaps it's the whole darn package!

Whatever it is, I suspect that Cowboys are here to stay!

What's your favorite thing about Cowboys?

Prize:  One print copy of THE COWBOY TAKES A BRIDE by Lori Wilde

Blurb for THE COWBOY TAKES A BRIDE:

Ex-champion bull rider-turned-cutting-horse cowboy Joe Daniels isn't quite sure how he ended up sleeping in a horse trough wearing nothing but his Stetson and cowboy boots. But now he's wide-awake, and a citified woman is glaring down at him. His goal? Get rid of her ASAP. The obstacle? Fighting the attraction he feels toward the blond-haired filly with the big, vulnerable eyes.

When out-of-work wedding planner Mariah Callahan learns that her estranged father has left her a rundown ranch in Jubilee, she has no choice but to accept it. Her goal? Redeem her career by planning local weddings. The obstacle? One emotionally wounded, hard-living cowboy who stirs her guilt, her heartstrings, and her long-burned cowgirl roots...

I'm with you there, Jaye! I wish I could've share some of the gorgeous naked chests that I found but I can't trust anything except those from places like Photo Pin. [sigh]

Hope you enjoyed and good luck!

My favorite is a hunky cowboy sitting astride a paint horse overlooking a pasture of cattle with a piece of straw hanging from his mouth after a long day in the saddle.

I got the e-mail about this post and almost drooled on my phone!! Cowboys...Oh sorry, I got distracted LOL! My favorite part about a cowboy is not their sexy, oily-muscled chests, or their large...belt buckles :) Nor the boots and chaps. It's when they tip their hat and call you "ma'am" or "darlin'" in that southern drawl of theirs, and then smiles. I swoon every time!! Thanks for the eye candy and the chance to win.

I love cowboys. They look great on a horse, off a horse, near a horse. Hmmmm
The have great bodies because they are not afraid of hard work.
Oh and they know how to use their hands and they are good with rope.

Ooh, I do like a man who tips his hat and says, "hey, darlin',"
We may get the "hey, darlin'" around here but they sure don't tip their hats - I'm lucky if they take the dang things off when they come inside. LOL!

There is something to be said about a man in a hat - especially a cowboy hat. And a man who works with his hands - well, he knows just how to use 'em, doesn't he?

Cowboys.......yummm! I'm not sure if it's the hat, tipping the hat, the sourthern drawl and charm, the tan body or those darned boots, but I do love a cowboy. It may just be that rough and tumble, not afraid of a little dirt and hard work persona they have.
