Welcome to my stop on the
CRAZY FOR HER, book one in the K2 Team series by Sandra Owens blog tour. I’ve never read
any of Sandra’s regency romances but I will say, if she writes them as well as
she does this series, I’ll be adding them to my TBR list. Please read my
thoughts on this exceptional series debut, and then stick around for a
giveaway!

Blurb for CRAZY FOR HER:
When his best friend and fellow Navy SEAL, Evan Prescott,
died in his arms on the battlefield, Logan Kincaid gave his word to watch over
Evan’s widow. But for two years he kept his distance…torn between honoring his
solemn vow and succumbing to his secret love for his fallen comrade’s wife. But
when Dani Prescott desperately reaches out to Logan for the help only he can
give, he rushes to her side—determined to fight for her safety as fiercely as
he fights against his own buried desire.
Someone claiming to be her husband is stalking Dani and her
infant daughter, making them virtually prisoners in their remote country home.
Logan’s elite military training and high-risk security expertise have
outmatched more dangerous enemies. But the real challenge will be the burning
temptation that threatens to overcome Logan whenever Dani is near…especially
when she reveals her own hidden passion.
* * * * *
Logan Kincaid lost his
best friend, and fellow Navy SEAL in a mission to retrieve one of their own. As
a man of honor, he’s unable to get past the guilt for not keeping Evan Prescott
safe and bringing him home to his wife and unborn child. When Evan, in his last
breath, made Logan promise to take care of his family, he never expected how
far that promise was going to take him. What made things more difficult for
Logan was for as long as he’s known Danielle, Evan’s widow, he’s been in love
with her. Feeling responsible for making her widow was painful enough to keep
him watching her from afar but when she needs his help, he can’t turn away but
must remind himself she belonged to Evan and always will.
Dani Prescott is a regency
romance novelist, single mother of a darling little girl named Regan, and just when
she thought she was tough enough to handle most anything thrown at her after
losing her husband, now she’s terrified. She’s getting strange phone calls from
a man who eerily sounds a lot like her deceased husband, and even claims to be
him. Her brain tells her it’s impossible but her fear has cringing with dread.
She calls the one person she knows will be there for her, or so she hopes –
Logan Kincaid. He’d been a friend to her since the night she’d first met him and
Evan. Perhaps had things worked out differently, it might have been Logan who’d
won her heart instead of Evan but right now, she needed someone to tell her she
wasn’t going crazy.
Logan’s expertise is
what’s needed to uncover the mystery of the phone calls and someone pretending
to be her husband, but Logan’s heart keeps pulling him into thoughts of Dani in
his arms, his bed, and forever in his life. Logan wonders if he should tell her
how he feels and fears her response even as Dani desires Logan in her bed and can't help but wonder if he was the one she always loved.
CRAZY FOR HER, book one
in the K2 Team series by Sandra Owens rocks as a series debut from an author who
normally writes regency romance. I love military-based heroes and heroines so I
was immediately drawn to this story and I’m so glad I read it. I always love
the honor and brotherhood felt between the men and women of military units but
when it comes to Navy SEALS, it’s unique and never ending. The connection
between Logan and Evan extends beyond life and it’s what Logan struggles with
every moment in regards to Dani and Regan. As much as he loves her and wants to
be part of their lives, he feels a betrayal to his fallen brother every time he
allows himself a moment of surrender to his desires. Dani is torn between her
loyalty to her deceased husband and the friendship she has for Logan. When she
discovers the angst he carries from his youth, she recognizes him as a tortured
hero just like the ones she writes about in her novels. Like any good heroine,
she wishes to rescue him in the same way he rescues her.
I highly recommend CRAZY
FOR HER by Sandra Owens to anyone who loves a good hero saving the day romance,
but which is truly a tortured hero rescued by the love of a good woman second
chance romance with action, angst, and more twists and turns than you’d ever
expect. Hooked from the start then glued to the pages, I was eager to see what
happened next, and then surprised at what did happen. Looking for something to
drag you away from the same ol’ - same ol’, read CRAZY FOR HER by Sandra Owens,
you won’t be disappointed. In fact, I think you’ll be as excited as me about what comes
next in the series.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review, Amy.
This remains ones of my favorite contemporary romances. The buildup and the suspense were perfectly drawn. Logan is a sexy broken alpha man and Dani is a perfectly written heroine. I loved Sandy's Regencies and I am so impressed at how effortlessly she switched genres.
Awesome Review!!
