I also faithfully follow the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris, and last but not least- LOVED the 50 Shades Series, and am always looking for more of these types to read- I love staying with characters for a while, they start to feel like friends and family :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04386987553636797985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-955342718286093722.post-44231353981159246832012-11-07T11:13:48.200-05:002012-11-07T11:13:48.200-05:00Agreed, Ladies, it's like have a whole bunch o...Agreed, Ladies, it's like have a whole bunch of friends and peeking into their lives. ; )

Erin, I agree with what you're saying and it's one reason that I'm more a fan of series rather than sequels (totally different animal). With sequels, the story follows a couple and the secondary characters from book to book. Admittedly, sequels are harder to pull off but they can also fail faster.

Good Luck to both of you! : )Amy Valentinihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10725078863607000204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-955342718286093722.post-20997630461047507252012-11-07T09:58:14.599-05:002012-11-07T09:58:14.599-05:00Thanks for the fabulous giveaway! And when each book is centered around different couples, I love the "cameos" that the other couples play b/c I'm a sucker for seeing them enjoy their HEA. However... on the flip side, if the series revolves around 1 or 2 characters, then I hope the author continues to challenge and grow the characters. There have been a few series that I've quit b/c the character growth was stagnate and the stories started to go downhill/repeat.

efender1(at)gmail(dot)comerinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10905574606129534214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-955342718286093722.post-14603172165358399492012-11-07T08:05:37.887-05:002012-11-07T08:05:37.887-05:00I love series books.
